Beginner 101


If you’ve been curious about yoga but unsure where to begin, this is for you. Beginner 101 is a warm, welcoming introduction designed to help you feel confident, supported, and at home on your mat — no flexibility or experience required.

What You’ll Learn in 6 Weeks

Each class builds on the last, gently guiding you through the fundamentals:

  • Foundational Poses & Alignment
    Learn safe, accessible ways to move into each posture — so you always know what to do when you step on your mat.

  • Breathwork & Mindfulness
    Simple breathing techniques to calm your mind and reduce stress, both in class and in daily life.

  • Using Props & Modifications
    Discover how blankets, blocks, and bolsters can support your body and make yoga feel good (not forced).

  • Gentle Flow & Relaxation
    Experience the ease of linking breath with movement, and end every class with deep, delicious rest.

Why This Series Is Different

Most beginner yoga classes are drop-in — which can feel overwhelming and rushed. Beginner 101 is intentionally small, structured, and progressive:

  • Consistent group to learn alongside and connect with

The Details

  • When: Fridays 11:00 am

  • Duration: 6 weeks (75 minutes each)

  • Dates: Sept 12, 19, 26, Oct 3, 17 and 24th

  • Investment: $110 per person (full series only)

  • Capacity: Limited to 10 students
